Bar SignsBecause we weren't hosting an open bar, I made signs telling guests what was being hosting. The signs were in gold frames and placed on the bars.
See template below. File is formatted for a 4"x6" frame. |

Baskets
I purchased several baskets from Groolwill ($1.29 each) and brown painted them dark brown to match our colors. I ended up using the baskets for the ceremony programs and the bathroom baskets. Between the basket and spray paint, they were about $2 each.
Bathroom Baskets
(Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of these).
I made up bathroom baskets for the Ladies' and Men's restrooms as a convenience to guests, in case they needed anything. We used the Ladies basket while we were getting ready and then moved it to the bathroom. (If you make bathrom baskets, be sure to put a sign with them to indicate to the guests they're from you and not part of the venue! Somehow our signs didn't get put out and I didn't notice until one of the GM's comment how are venue was amazing since they even offered nail files in the men's bathroom.)

Ceremony SignBecause we decided to do a signature matte instead of a guestbook and also because we didn't assign someone the job of handing out programs, I made a sign, just to make sure guests knew what to do.
Template for the sign is to the right. It's formatted for a 5"x5" frame (see pic below). |

Flower PensAs mentioned above, I ended up making flower pens for the Madlibs. I also made flower "Sharpies" for the signature matte.
These are so simple to make and an easy way to personalize to your taste. Supplies:
My flower pens (8 pens and 2 Sharpies w/lids) are for sale! See For Sale page. |
Mad-LibsWe wanted something to display on the cocktail tables. I created a Mad-Lib and printed it out on Vista Print's as a "brochure". I then used the paper cutter to cut the mad-libs to size. They were placed in a rectangular vase with flower pens I made for a small centerpiece.
|
Yah, I found the file for the mad-libs in my sent emails. Here it is: (note this file is sized as a brochure and/or flier for Vista Print - see Vista Print page for explanation)

Menu Card
I designed this in MS Powerpoint, and printed via Vista Print as a "Standard Postcard" (see Vista Print page for sizing directions). Because I considered this as an "extra" and guest had already pre-ordered their entree, I ordered 100 (free) cards and ended up having 4 placed at each table.
Must-Take Photo ListWe emailed this to the photographer a few days before the wedding

Out of Town Guest Welcome BagsFor our guests staying at hotels, we wanted to thank them for traveling and also welcome them to our wedding weekend. We include the following items:
(Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the assembled bag) Bag label (bottom right, "Orchid Glamour" in Tangerine Orange): http://www.blissweddingsmarket.com/store/rectangle-personalized-stickers.htm Water bottle label (bottom left, "Orchid Glamour" in Tangerine Orange): http://www.blissweddingsmarket.com/store/personalized-labels-water-bottles.htm Order in advance, because between printing and shipping, they take a while to get! |
We personalized the letters with family names and ended up having 3 different letters (1. For those staying at the blocked hotel and invited for brunch, 2. For those staying at a blocked hotel but not invited to brunch, 3. For those staying a hotel other than what we had blocked -no shuttle for this hotel-)

Photoshare Cards
As shown with our favors; we provided photoshare cards attached to the favors asking guests to share their pictures with us. The cards were made/printed via Vistaprint.
Picture Frames
All of my gold picture frames (used for program sign, bathroom basket signs, and bar signs) were purchased from Goodwill (for less than $2 each) and spray painted gold.
Schedules |
I handed out both of these documents to my BMs at the bridal party brunch Friday morning. The rest of the wedding party received the schedule at the rehearsal dinner.

Tissue Paper PomandersUsed for ceremony (hung on shepherd's hooks) and again as mantle decoration in reception (set up similar to picture below, pink pots were purchased from IKEA for $1.99 each)
Link to directions: http://diytissuepomanders.weebly.com/ I didn't follow the cutting square directions identically. In the end, my squares were about 3"x3". Each "flower" is made individually and then stuck into a sytrafoam ball. (I used 3" balls. It took about 40 "flowers" to fill one ball. Each ball took about 2-2.5 hrs to make...but cost less than $3 each. Where I got my supplies: -Tissue Paper: Party City, $0.99 per pack. (I used 8 packs to make 10 pomanders) -3" Styrafoam Balls: Michaels, $2.39 (with a 40% styrafoam sale) -Ribbon (12" for each ball): Michaels, $1.99/yard -24 gauge wire (to make flowers, secure ribbon): I used leftover wire used from making BM jewelry (purchased at local bead store) |
